Broadview Homes, Qualico Communities and it's trades are proud to be a sponsor for Paul Brandt's Build it Forward. Working with Habitat for Humanity, Samaritan's Purse, Build it Forward and Corkscrew Media, Broadview Homes is excited to be a part of this project of building a home for a family.
Build it Forward is an inspiring new documentary series on CMT Canada hosted by country musician Paul Brandt, documenting the journey of 14 families receiving a brand new home at no cost - a home that is built and donated by the goodwill of individuals and sponsors such as Broadview Homes. In return, the families volunteer and help build a new home for another family in a third world country. The series also shows how these inspiring individuals and sponsors make a difference in the community and help to make a dream come true.
Broadview Homes General Manager, Peter-John Woolf says it was fate being involved. Peter-John says "I had a meeting with our staff one week prior to getting a phone call to be involved in this. The discussion in our meeting was about giving something back to the community and people. We thought about having a draw for a new deck, fence, basement etc. and then we decided on picking the most worthy hard luck story we could, most likely someone that would never build a house with us, but someone that really needed it. We all felt this would be a good way to give back to the community and people. Then we were contacted by Build it Forward and Habitat for Humanity and my first reaction was "Wow! this is bigger than we were thinking but we want to be involved!" My staff, trades and I are very excited. The thought of being able to help a family this way is really cool and we feel real blessed to be part of it, I must get asked a dozen times a day from our staff "Do we know who the family is?". It will seem more real once that happens. We are looking forward to meeting them."
