Inspired by Mid-Century Modern design, this great room in our Harmony showhome is a cool, clean, sophisticated showstopper. The colourful mustard yellow sofas along with the anything but plain beige and white arm chairs, pop against the stately blue of the feature wall and tile fireplace.
In creating this room, our designer, Christina, started off with the different materials of the room – glass, wood, metals and fabrics. She then introduced the chevron pattern in the arm chairs and other geometric patterns in the cushions. Finally, it was time to add some glam. The sparkly disco ball inspired mosaic, against the painted glass tile, and furs were the finishing touches to create this interesting and inviting great room.
One final addition to this design is a quirky hippo statue next to the fireplace to incorporate something whimsy and fun!
